Qurdbaşlı Bayrağın Balası Bayraq.

Tarixdə hər bir millətə məxsus yüzlərlə simvollar,  rəmzlər mövcuddur. Türk millətinin də tarixində özünəməxsus rəmzlər və nişanlar yer alır. Türk kimliyinin və kültürünün ayrılmaz bir parçası olan bayraq və sancaqlar da Türk birlik və bağımsızlığının simgəsi-simvoludur.
Veksillologiya – bayraqları öyrənən elm. Azərbaycanda yeni, lakin perspektivli və vacib tədqiqat istiqamətlərindəndir.
Yazımda türklərdə tuğ anlayışı; Ilk Müsəlman-Türk dövləti kimi qəbul edilən Qaraxanlıların (840-1212) bayraqlarında yer alan “doqquz tuğ” simvolu barədə məlumat yazacağam.

Tuğ – Türklərdə ucuna atın quyruğu taxılmış mızraq.

Rəvayətə görə, savaşda sancağını itirən bir türk, atının quyruğunu kəsib mızrağa taxmış və birliyi qorumuşdur. Beləliklə tuğ ortaya çıxmışdır.

Sonralar bu quyruq rənglənmiş saçaqlarla əvəz olunmuşdur. Tuğlar zamanla qurdbaşlı bayraq da adlandırılıb. Bəzən hilaldan da istifadə olunan ( əsasən Osmanlı dönəmində) tuğlar, xanın əzəmətinin göstəricisi idi. Orta əsrlərdə daha çox Osmanlı dövründə tuğlardan geniş istifadə edilmişdir. Tuğlar zaman-zaman tək, yəni bir başlı istifadə olunsada, əsasən 9 başlıdır.

İlk Türk-Müsəlman dövləti Qaraxanilərin bayrağında doqquz tuğdan istifadə edilmişdir. Türklərdə “doqquz” müqəddəs-qutlu rəqəm sayılır. (9-doqquz planeti təmsil edir, göy isə 9 qatlıdır). 9 Tuğun olması isə Qaraxanlıların təmsili olaraq  9 gəzəgənə hökm etdiklərini göstərir.

An Introduction to Ethnography.

Ethnography  (The term  ethnic  has Greek origin –  ethnicus  and  ethnikas  both meaning nation; “grapho” – “describe” ) is one of the historical fields. As a written product, an ethnography is a richly descriptive account of the social life and culture of the group studied.  Ethnography has its roots planted in the fields of anthropology and sociology. Present-day practitioners conduct ethnographies in organizations and communities of all kinds. Ethnographers study schooling, public health, rural and urban development, consumers and consumer goods, any human arena.
